Matt brings over 20 years of experience in leadership development, organisational culture and strategic business consulting. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of DEI Tech Solutions, he
supports leaders and businesses to align culture with strategy and build environments where people and performance thrive.
Matt’s approach is grounded in human connection and practical insight. He holds ISO/DIS 30415 HR certification, a Certificate IV in Workplace and Business Coaching, and a Level 1 ICF accredited
coaching certification. He is currently completing a Diploma in Workplace and Business Coaching, alongside studies in psychology. These formal qualifications build on decades of experience working with leaders to build capability, lead change and grow with confidence.
Matt coaches with clarity, calm and strategic focus. He is especially skilled at helping leaders navigate complexity, reconnect with purpose and show up with confidence and consistency in demanding environments.
Life Journey so far
Matt started young, launching his first business at 25 in the UK, driven by a curiosity about people and what helps them thrive at work and in life. At 30 he packed his bags for Australia, chasing a better life and bigger horizons. In 2012 he married, and the next year he founded his second business here in Australia, Eagna Consulting. Building Eagna Consulting from the ground up taught him the power of values, persistence and relationships in shaping culture and performance.
After a long and difficult road to parenthood, Matt and his partner had their miracle son in 2014. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to have more children, and the years that followed were tough. In 2021, they separated and later divorced. Co-parenting their boy is now one of the most meaningful parts of Matt’s life, keeping him grounded, honest and optimistic about what really matters.
Professionally, Matt kept leaning into purpose and in 2023 he co-founded DEI Tech Solutions to help leaders and organisations align culture with strategy so people and performance can thrive. Today, Matt combines two decades across talent, leadership and organisational development with a deeply human, values-led approach to change.
Matt lives with two autoimmune disorders, including chronic anaemia. He also trains every day, races in triathlons and is building towards an Ironman. Those things aren’t contradictions; they’re reminders. Challenge is part of life. What we choose to do with it, how we show up for ourselves, our teams and our families define who we become.
All this life experience; start-ups, migrations, marriage, fatherhood, health challenges, resilience shapes how Matt coaches. He brings clarity, calm and practical strategy, but also empathy for the seasons leaders move through, growth, reinvention, tough calls and new beginnings. Matt’s work is about helping people lead with purpose, build inclusive cultures and create momentum that lasts.
